CloudTest Builder
SOASTA’s CloudTest Builder™ is an AJAX-based record and edit tool which enables the rapid capture, edit and playback of scenarios based on HTTP/HTTPS traffic, as well as other web protocols, such as AMF and Silverlight for performance tests. CloudTest Builder also records browser events at the DOM level and offers multiple object locators to create more accurate automated tests.
Browser-based UI
Test anytime, anywhere. CloudTest Builder enables your team to easily access your testing environment from across campus or across the world. CloudTest Builder runs on any computer that has a browser and Internet connection. No need to install software…merely open your browser, log in and begin testing.
A Single, Integrated Testing Environment
With SOASTA CloudTest you can test any Web application or service, no matter how complex. No need to resort to cobbling together point products from many vendors. SOASTA CloudTest natively supports functional/regression testing, load testing and performance testing and Web UI/Ajax testing. SOASTA CloudTest is browser independent and supports a wide range of protocols, including SOAP, REST, HTTP, HTML, AMF, SilverLight, JSON, etc.
Integrated Monitoring
Monitors, whether provided by SOASTA or leveraging a third party, provide important analytics for load and performance tests. Resources such as network devices, load balancers, firewall, Web servers, databases, application servers, content management systems and more provide meaningful data to help troubleshoot problems and optimize performance. Monitored data appears on the same charts and timeline as standard performance metrics.
Visual Approach
SOASTA CloudTest’s visual testing environment is based upon familiar, easy-to-use visual mixing board metaphor found in today’s popular digital media creation tools. With an immersive, drag and drop interface, you can easily create and run complex tests within minutes, find and fix errors in real-time, and collaborate and reuse test scenarios across the testing team. The visual environment is supplemented by Javascript, allowing the test builder to meet every corner case.
