During test clip conversion, recorded responses are captured and can be viewed in the resulting test clip via the Message Editor. Recorded responses provide a valuable benchmark for subsequent tests.

To view a recorded response

1. For any message in a converted test clip, double-click to show its properties in the Selected: tab in the Clip Editor sub-pane. The Recorded Response node appears in response section the tree on the left.

If a message has no response, such as with messages in test clips that were not created through the clip conversion process, click Play in the Message Editor to record a response.

When Recorded Response or any of its children are selected, the message response can be viewed on the right.
