Tom Lounibos is being recognized for establishing the Dante Benedetti Foundation

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – May 10, 2012 – OASTA, the leader in cloud-based performance and functional testing, is congratulating Tom Lounibos, CEO at SOASTA, on his induction into the University of San Francisco’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Lounibos, a former infielder for the University’s baseball team, the Diamond Dons, is being recognized for his role in establishing the Dante Benedetti Foundation, which provides meaningful financial support to organizations that facilitate active participation in baseball for under-served youth in the Bay Area. The Foundation takes its name from San Francisco legend Dante Benedetti who coached baseball at USF for 16 seasons out of the love of the game – only taking $1 a year for the job and frequently buying equipment himself when the team ran short.
