SOASTA to Provide Industry’s First Browser-Based Web UI / Ajax Testing Solution

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — March 20, 2007 — In response to increasing customer demand for an automated solution, SOASTA, Inc., today announced plans to expand its SOASTA CloudTest™ Web testing service to support cross browser Web UI / Ajax testing. The company will deliver the new feature in Q3 of this year.

Generally available earlier this month, SOASTA CloudTest is the industry’s first Web testing service. It addresses the need for an integrated, collaborative, affordable environment to easily test today’s complex Web applications and services. Designed on the visual metaphor of digital media creation tools, SOASTA CloudTest is comprised of five powerful visual editors that allow users to easily create and run complex tests within minutes, find and fix errors in real-time, and collaborate and reuse test scenarios across the testing team.

“SOASTA’s strategy from the beginning was to provide a single integrated testing environment to support the automated testing of all Web tiers . . . from the message layer through the UI,” said Ken Gardner, founder and executive chairman, SOASTA. “Dynamic user interfaces based on Ajax are becoming extremely popular, but are difficult to test. There is a lot of demand for an automated approach.”

The company is currently seeking beta customers interested in testing Web UI/Ajax applications. For more information, please visit www.soasta.com.
